ATWIMA KWANWOMA DISTRICT ASSEMBLY SUPPORTS PEOPLE LIVING WITH DISABILITIES (PWDS)

Hon. Karikari advised the beneficiaries not to sell the items for money. He said the intention of government to procure the items for them was to make them economically independent, so selling the items will therefore defeat the very intention of the government.

The DCE, however, was quick to add that the beneficiaries would be monitored to ensure they used the packages according to their intended purpose.

The beneficiaries expressed their appreciation to the government and the DCE for the support and pledged to put the items and the cash to beneficial use.
