It’s been an exciting day in the forecourt of the Atwima Kwanwoma District assembly as our people with various degrees of disabilities gathered together to receive items to enhance their daily activities as a matter of inclusion. This is to fulfill the percentage allocation of the common fund to persons with disabilities.Speaking at a short inauguration ceremony, the DCE thanked all people gathered and urged the beneficiaries they should use the items provided should be used as promised. Later, he expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support inside the district and committed to trying his best to ensure that the majority of its issues are resolved

In all 19 persons with various degrees of disabilities were beneficiaries with 3 receiving free amounts to cover their medical expenses. 8 people with disabilities who are students also received school fees and 8 more people with disabilities also received items including 4 chest freezers, 4 ice chests, 1 grinding machine, 1 sewing machine, and 1 fried rice container.
