The Department of Social welfare and community Development as part of its activities to celebrate the World Menstrual Hygiene Day in collaboration with Ghana Education Service, Ghana Health Service, Mama Africa(Non-Governmental Organization), Gender Desks and National Service Scheme organized a one day educational programme on menstrual hygiene for government schools in Atwima Kwanwoma District, for three (3) selected communities ( Nweneso No. 1, Twedie and Yabi) it was held on 26th May, 2023, in all six hundred and Eight three (683) student and teachers, made up of twenty five (25) teachers, two hundred and sixty four (264) male and three hundred and ninety four (394) female were gathered
