MP and DCE Donate Furniture To Schools

The Member of Parliament (MP) for Atwima Kwanwoma Constituency, Lawyer Kofi Amankwa Manu and DCE, Hon Prince Karikari during the period, made  donation of school furniture through the Ghana Education Service (GES) in the district for distribution to some schools.

 The item donated included four hundred (400) Dual desk for primary schools, from the MP’s share of the Common Fund. The others were five hundred (500) Mono desk for JSS, two hundred (200) Hexagonal tables and chairs for the kindergartens and five hundred (500) Dual desk also financed through the District Performance Assessment Tool (DPAT) fund.

Making the presentation at a short colourful ceremony at the district Assembly premises, the Hon MP who is also the Deputy Minister of Defense, said the gesture was to promote teaching and learning in the schools.

The GES directorate who gladly received the furniture on behalf of the schools, expressed gratitude to the MP and the DCE for the donation and said the item will contribute to teaching and learning in the district.
