A minute silence was observed for two hardworking staff who had gone to be with the Lord when the Second Ordinary General Assembly meeting of 2023 was held at Atwima Twedie on Friday 27th day of October 2023.In an address meant to update the assembly members on activities and programs in the district, Hon. District Chief Executive, Prince Kakari praised all Honorable members and staff for their selfless and dedicated work in making the district a unique one.Hon. Prince Kakari expressed his worry as a result of the lack of support from corporate bodies to enhance development.On education, Hon. Prince Kakari disclosed that the Twedie Technical School (TVET) has received the attention of donors and is working on improving the teaching and learning of vocational and technical education in the district.On health, the District Chief Executive cautioned the public against dangerous built environment-related diseases namely typhoid and malaria which continue to gain prominence in the district as well as diabetes.The DCE admonished all assembly members to carry on with their campaign activities prior to their upcoming assembly member elections devoid of insults.
