DCE COMMISIONS NURSES QUARTERS AT TWEDIE AND YABI MARKET; AND A CHPS COMPOUND AT AMPABAME No. 2

The DCE, Hon Prince Karikari, commissioned three projects completed under his watch. The DCE was accompanied by the DCD, Madam Eunice Korankye, and other senior staff of the assembly. As well as the Presiding Member of the Assembly, Hon Anthony Kwame Nsiah.

The projects commissioned included nurses quarters at Twedie, CHPS compound at Ampabame No. 2 and then a Community market at Yabi.

Speaking at the short ceremonies to officially hand over such projects to the beneficial communities, Hon. Karikari noted that every development begins with acquisition of land. But lately, the district is faced with scarcity of lands due to the urbanization and land dispute. The DCE therefore appealed to chiefs in the district who are the custodians of the land to help protect lands allocated for projects in the various communities.

On their part, the chiefs in the beneficial communities expressed gratitude to the DCE and the NPP government for the projects, which they believe will go a long way to improving their living standards.
