INAUGURATION OF TWEDIE COURT HOUSE

Speaking at a short inauguration ceremony, the Ashanti Regional Minister represented by the DCE thanked the government led by the NPP for considering the Twedie town in his region for such a project. He also thanked Nana Toase hene for releasing land for the project.  Later, he expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support inside the district and committed to trying his best to ensure that the majority of its issues are resolved. He stated that although there are economic hardships, we should have trust in the NPP government to redeem us from these hardships.

He expressed his sincere appreciation for the NPP government’s significant contribution to the judicial services at the District level. He thanked the DCE and pledged that the district would always be ranked first in the Ashanti region and throughout Ghana. He stated that the new working environment should not only be conducive but should also serve the purpose of justice because ‘justice delayed is justice denied’. In his address, he added that this new building should be an opportunity for a new beginning in the judicial service in the district and that the staff of the court house as well as stakeholders should ensure the highest maintenance culture.

I am excited today as it marks the beginning of justice in the Atwima Kwanwoma District, he stated. He pleaded with the security agencies in the district to collaborate with legal masters to help in security matters in the district. He later thanked everyone present for making time to Text Box:  witness such a great day in Twedie.

‘I sincerely want to appreciate the government of Ghana for a development such as this in my community’. I thank everyone who took part in making this court house in Twedie a reality. Despite this, I will plead with the good people of Twedie to help maintain this court house for it to last long and serve its purposes in the district.As every coin has two sides, I will equally plead with Hon. Kofi Amankwah Manu and Chief Justice His Lordship Justice Anin Yeboah to come to our aid as our roads in the district are deteriorating and must be attended too immediately. SOURCE SAMUEL ANTWI ISD
