On June 28, 2022, the District Chief Executive, Hon. Prince Karikari, paid an awesome visit to the Chief, Elders, and people of Twedie township, which is the capital of Atwima Kwanwoma District Assembly.
This programme was graced with the presence of the District Coordinating Director, Mrs. Eunice Korankye, Head of Departments within the assembly, and staff. The people of Twedie, together with the elders, warmly welcomed the DCE and came to the grounds to hear him out at the center of Twedie township.
The Hon. Member gave his speech and made it known to the people his reason for visiting. And then I asked the people within the township about the main problems they face. This way of getting to know the people and what really matters to them was very much cherished by the citizens of Twedie.
He then gave the floor to people to voice their complaints. Also, the elders and the chief of Twedie town added their quota to it.
After all was said, the honorable member took all that was said into consideration and assured the people that the problems would be addressed seriously and changes would be seen very soon.
