ATWIMA KWANWOMA DCE CUTS SOD FOR CONSTRUCTION OF TWO PROJECTS IN THE DISTRICT

The District Chief Executive, Hon Prince Karikari, has performed the opening ceremony for the completion of two facilities in the district to enhance teaching and learning It’s been an exciting day in Ahenema Kokoben and Adumasa in the Atwima Kwanwoma District of Ghana’s Ashanti Region today, as the official sod-cutting ceremony took place. This ceremony blesses the two communities of Adumasa and Ahenema Kokoben with a 3-unit classroom and 6-unit classroom school complex funded by DPAT and GETFUND, respectively. The District Chief Executive and the Chief of both communities, as well as the district education director, addressed the gathering.Speaking at a short ceremony in the two communities to officially hand over the two projects to the community, the DCE said the projects were in fulfillment of the NPP government’s promise of ensuring the total development of the country. “Nananom, am happy to be associated with these projects, especially when I am the DCE representing his Excellency, the President of the Republic of Ghana,” he noted.To the contractors, the Hon.  DCE congratulated him and his workers for the early completion of the projects. For the facility to last a long time, he discussed the need for maintenance. He continued by saying that we should encourage Adumasa locals to take education seriously to support the current government’s strict approach to education.Later, he expressed his gratitude to everyone for their support inside the district and committed to trying his best to ensure that the majority of its issues are resolved. He stated that although there are economic hardships, we should have trust in the NPP government to redeem us from these hardships.

He expressed his sincere appreciation for the AKDA’s significant contribution to the district’s educational system. He thanked the DCE and pledged that the district would always be ranked first in the Ashanti region and throughout Ghana. He stated that this kind gesture should be extended to other communities in the district.He expressed his unfailing gratitude for this project after it was promised by Hon. DCE. He equally thanked the assemblyman for his enormous contributions to making the project materialize.He later pleaded that other developmental projects, such as chip compound and a community library, were equally needed in the community and promised to help maintain the facility
